FoxNews Says NO Just Like GOP?

I recently came across a blog post by another blogger on the other side of the political spectrum. The title of this man's post was "FoxNews Says NO Just Like GOP". First, he attempts to make it sound as if the FoxNews Channel is not going to air the speech, which is a complete lie. Fox, not FoxNews, is not going to air the speech.

What the writer is trying to imply is that Fox's, not the FoxNews Channel, decision not to air President Obama's speech is somehow a political decision. Fox also decided not to air a speech from former President Bush back in 2001, I suppose that was somehow political as well.

The truth is that Fox's decision not to air either speech is in no way politcal. It has nothing to do with Barack Obama and had nothing to do with George W. Bush in 2001. Fox's news outlet, The FoxNews Channel, will be carrying the speech.

Supreme Court Protects Our Rights

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Americans have a right to own guns for self-defense and hunting, the justices' first major pronouncement on gun rights in U.S. history.

The court's 5-4 ruling struck down the District of Columbia's 32-year-old ban on handguns as incompatible with gun rights under the Second Amendment. The decision went further than even the Bush administration wanted, but probably leaves most firearms laws intact.

The court had not conclusively interpreted the Second Amendment since its ratification in 1791. The amendment reads: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

The basic issue for the justices was whether the amendment protects an individual's right to own guns no matter what, or whether that right is somehow tied to service in a state militia.

Writing for the majority, Justice Antonin Scalia said that an individual right to bear arms is supported by "the historical narrative" both before and after the Second Amendment was adopted.

The Constitution does not permit "the absolute prohibition of handguns held and used for self-defense in the home," Scalia said. The court also struck down Washington's requirement that firearms be equipped with trigger locks.

In a dissent he summarized from the bench, Justice John Paul Stevens wrote that the majority "would have us believe that over 200 years ago, the Framers made a choice to limit the tools available to elected officials wishing to regulate civilian uses of weapons."

He said such evidence "is nowhere to be found."

Justice Stephen Breyer wrote a separate dissent in which he said, "In my view, there simply is no untouchable constitutional right guaranteed by the Second Amendment to keep loaded handguns in the house in crime-ridden urban areas."

Joining Scalia were Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy and Clarence Thomas. The other dissenters were Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and David Souter.

The capital's gun law was among the nation's strictest.

Dick Anthony Heller, 66, an armed security guard, sued the District after it rejected his application to keep a handgun at his home for protection in the same Capitol Hill neighborhood as the court.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled in Heller's favor and struck down Washington's handgun ban, saying the Constitution guarantees Americans the right to own guns and that a total prohibition on handguns is not compatible with that right.

The issue caused a split within the Bush administration. Vice President Dick Cheney supported the appeals court ruling, but others in the administration feared it could lead to the undoing of other gun regulations, including a federal law restricting sales of machine guns. Other laws keep felons from buying guns and provide for an instant background check.

Scalia said nothing in Thursday's ruling should "cast doubt on long-standing prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons or the mentally ill, or laws forbidding the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings."

The law adopted by Washington's city council in 1976 bars residents from owning handguns unless they had one before the law took effect. Shotguns and rifles may be kept in homes, if they are registered, kept unloaded and either disassembled or equipped with trigger locks.

Opponents of the law have said it prevents residents from defending themselves. The Washington government says no one would be prosecuted for a gun law violation in cases of self-defense.

Thank God they have some sense. After that blooper on Gitmo detainees, this is a relief to see that the Supreme Court can follow the Constitution and protect America and it's citizens rights instead of constantly trying to legislate from the bench.

What is the Role of Religion in America?

"Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God…I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should ‘make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,’ thus building a wall of separation between Church and State…." This is a quote, taken from Thomas Jefferson, that many today use to strike down Christianity. They say that this quote proves that our Founding Fathers did not want God in American government.

It’s true that our country’s founders did not want church-run government, the kind of government they left behind in Europe. They knew the atrocities that had been committed in the name of “God’s Will” and did not want that type of rule in America. At the same time, “Separation of Church and State” has been taken to far and has interfered with our First Amendment right that says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” This amendment prevents the government from establishing a church, but it also gives Americans the right to exercise their religion.

Thomas Jefferson was right when he proposed this language for the Virginia constitution, “All persons shall have full and free liberty of religious opinion; nor shall any be compelled to frequent or maintain any religious institution.” No person should be required or forced to believe in, or not believe in any certain religion or be restricted from practicing their faith. Neither the First Amendment nor the words of Thomas Jefferson allow our government to stop public prayer or prevent politicians from practicing their faith publicly. They don’t give individuals, or groups (such as the ACLU), the right to sue the government for showing the Ten Commandments or sue others for praying where they can hear. If that was the case then I could sue anyone for playing their music a little too loudly or for saying they don’t believe in Christ or God.

The Treaty of Tripoli has language in it that some use to further support separation of Church and State. The 12^th Article reads as follows, “As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen [Muslims]…” Many take the first portion, “As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion…” and omit the rest to support the infringement of our first amendment right to practice our faith freely. To fully understand the meaning of this part of the treaty you have to look at a couple of things.

The first is to just include all of the text, not just bits and pieces. If you read that first part and then include the rest it explains what it means. The treaty does not simply say that the United States is not a Christian nation, what it says is that it is not a Christian nation like European nations were. So called “Christian” European nations were always at war with Muslims over their religion (hence the Crusades) and the United States wanted to make sure that the Barbary States understood that they would not follow in Europe’s footsteps.

Second, you have to look at the position the United States was in when this treaty was written and signed. The Barbary States knew Christian nations to be warlike nations. To them a Christian nation was a threat, an enemy. The United States had just become an independent country and had few resources due to war (Revolutionary War). The United States had no navy and our trading ships were being attacked by the Barbary States. With our resources limited and no navy, the United States had no choice but to enter into a treaty with the Barbary States (who considered the United States an enemy at the time).

America

’s president at that time was President John Adams. President Adams was America’s 2^nd president and the president that signed this treaty and sent it to the Senate to be ratified. "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other," those were President Adams’ words just two years after signing the treaty. In a letter to Thomas Jefferson, Adams wrote, “The general principles on which the Fathers achieved independence were the only Principles in which that beautiful Assembly of young Gentlemen could Unite. ... And what were these general Principles? I answer, the general Principles of Christianity, in which all these Sects were united." It is obviously clear that Adams was a Christian and that he believed, and knew, that the Constitution was made for Christians and “religious people.”

Regarding the Treaty of Tripoli and taking those points into consideration, it’s fair to say that the treaty does not mean America is not a Christian nation, but that it means that America will not follow Europe’s example and fight more religious wars or persecute those for their faith. Also, judging from Adams’ words after the treaty it is evident he, and many others, knew that the United States was founded on Christian principles.

Many secularists argue that the Declaration of Independence is not law and because of that it’s not relevant that it includes “Our Creator.” They also argue the fact that the word “God” is not mentioned in the U.S. Constitution is proof enough that the founders had no desire for God to be part of American government and that their (secularists) view of separation of Church and State is right. This, like so many other things they believe in, is not true. Although the word God does not appear in the Constitution, a reference to our Lord does. In Article VII, of the United States Constitution, there are these words, “…Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven…”

First, let’s just make clear that the U.S. Constitution was done by the “Unanimous Consent of the States present…” So now that we know that it was unanimous lets look at the reference to “our Lord.” Now who is this Lord that they are referring to? Is it just a word they through in to make it sound better? No. Is it just the date? No, they could have done that without referring to our Lord. Then who is this Lord and Creator they are speaking of? John Adams, John Hancock, Samuel Adams, Charles Carroll, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, Patrick Henry, John Jay, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Johnston, George Washington, John Quincy Adams, James Madison, James McHenry and many, many more Founding Fathers and early country leaders have made it very clear. From public speeches to military addresses to private letters to congressional debating they make it very clear. This Lord they were referring to is Jesus Christ, and the Creator, God.

Did the Founding Fathers want a separation of church and state? I believe the answer is in the First Amendment. That amendment, though very short, explains the Founders’ intent concerning religion and government. There should not be a government-run church or church-run government. The people of the United States have the right to practice their faith, or lack of faith, freely and should not be discriminated against for their choice of faith. They should not be forced to believe in something or restricted from practicing their faith.

What about God and government? Our country’s founders have made it very clear. From the Declaration of Independence to the Constitution to the words spoken and written by these very men, it’s easy to see that they intended for a country founded on God. For a country with the most solid foundation available. They knew that there were no better principles than those of Christ. This is clear in their own words, such as, “The general principles upon which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principals of Christianity… I will avow that I believed and now believe that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God,” by John Adams. Or, “Of all the systems of morality, ancient or modern which have come under my observation, none appears to me so pure as that of Jesus,” and “I am a real Christian, that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus,” by Thomas Jefferson.

Separation of Church and State has been taken too far. America needs to go back to our founding documents and reexamine our country. God was intended to be part of America and should continue to be our foundation.

Obama Still Defending Wright

Senator Barack Obama continued his defense of his racist pastor, Jeremiah Wright, today by saying that Wright was stuck in a "time warp".

“What they spoke to was, I think, a brilliant man who was still caught in a time warp back in the ’60s, early ’70s and the ’50s, where he grew up, and had a sense of where America was and didn’t have a good enough sense of how it had changed,” said Obama. Obama's comment came on an appearance on "The View" earlier today.

If this man cannot grip reality and realize that this is not the 60's, he has no place on the pulpit. Obama can defend Wright all he wants, but the fact is that this says a lot about Obama's judgment and character. As much as he claims that he was not present for "SOME" of these statements, made by Pastor Wright, there is no way that you attend a church for 20 years and not know what types of things are being taught. Especially when you are as involved as Obama has claimed to be.

To go back to something else that I mentioned in this post, Obama said that he was not present for "SOME" of the bigoted, racist, anti-American and hate-filled sermons. So was he saying that he is was also present for some? If he was then there is no excuse for not getting up and leaving in the middle of a sermon. He should of either left the church or asked Wright to resign. It is my personal belief the he was present for some or at least knew of some of the hate-filled sermons delivered by Wright. Because he chose to continue to be a member of the church and had a close relationship with the racist pastor I am certain that his man lacks the judgment and experience to lead the strongest country in the world.

D.C. Gun Ban Goes to Supreme Court

Tomorrow is a very big day for Washington D.C. and the rest of the country. Washington D.C.'s unconstitutional handgun ban is finally going to the Supreme Court, where I pray they will uphold the Constitution and our right to bear and keep arms. The Supreme Court's decision could affect the rest of the country's fire arm laws.

Dick Heller is the agitator bringing on the suit against D.C. . He claims that his personal handgun is necessary to defend himself at home (which we know is true).

What is really interesting in this case is that D.C. claims that the Second Amendment does in apply to them because they are a district. But wait, I thought that they wanted equal representation in congress as a state? I guess that liberals there just can't make up there mind. They really don't care, as long as they get more power.

55 Senators (Democrats and Republicans) and 250 Representatives (Democrats and Republicans) have sent a brief to the court in support of Heller. Only 17 Representatives (all Democrats) have sent a brief in favor of ignoring the Constitution. And of course Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have not made their positions known, but I wouldn't expect anything else from them, they're just liberals playing politics and the less we know the better right?

Marines Under Attack At Home

After the show of anti-American patriotism in Berkeley, CA, Toledo, OH Mayor Carty Finkbeiner kicked United States Marines out of Toledo. His reasoning; they scare people.

The Marines have been training in Toledo since 2004, but Finkbeiner just would not have it. The police departments knew what was going on, yet Fink kicked the Marines out after they had already arrived. This is why we don't want to hear liberals say they "support the troops". You guys really show it. I guess you're really proud of Fink aren't you Mudrake? This is why I will not support the Democratic party. It is anti-American and anti-patriotic.

San Francisco denying the Marines a spot to film a commercial yet clearing blocks for the gay sex parade, Berkeley trying to kick out the Marines from recruiting there and now Toledo Mayor Fink kicking marines from his city because he claims that they scare people yet they have been training there since 2004. We Need to Take Advantage

While John McCain has pretty much won the Republican nomination, the Democrats are still fighting for their nomination. What Republicans need to do is start concentrating on a national campaign against either Clinton or Obama.

The Democratic race could go on for months and possible even to August. Republicans, conservative or moderate, need to unite behind McCain because, regardless of your disagreements with him, what he has to offer is far better than what the Democrats have to offer.

McCain will stand behind our troops, has said he will make President Bush's tax cuts permanent, will secure our border, will cut taxes further, will ban internet taxes, cut spending (he has the best record of anyone on spending), appoint strict constructionist judges, support the right to life, improve education by implementing choice, defend marriage and protect our right to bear arms. The Democrats will surrender in Iraq, embolden our enemies around the world, lighten up on Iran at a time that Iran is getting bolder and bolder and killing American troops, socialize health care, increase taxes, expand government control, handicap American trade and support the murder of millions of innocent babies.

Obviously it is clear that McCain is a far better choice than either of the Democrats. We need to use the time we have to get an advantage over the Democrats. Our country is at stake and we need to do all we can, and that means supporting something who you have some disagreements with because, I cannot say it enough, McCain is better than the Democrats. Democrats Have No Accomplishments

I was watching Hannity and Colmes last night on FNC and the had Frank Luntz, a pollster on. Frank Luntz was with a group of Democrats discussing who they were favoring and Sean Hannity had a brilliant idea. That idea was to ask the Democrats what accomplishments either Hillary or Obama had accomplished. The Democratic group could not think of one, neither could Alan Colmes. It just shows that the Democratic party is all about talk but nothing more. They are voting on personality. If you ask Republicans what accomplishments McCain, Romney or Huckabee have, we could name at least one for each and more. Attacking spending for McCain, tremendous business man in Romney (i.e. Salt Lake City Olympics) and Huckabee helped Arkansas have one of the best school accountability in the country. There are many more by the Republicans than the Democrats. In fact all that I can come up with is nothing for Obama and a failed attempt at health care for Hillary.

Not So Conservative Romney

All I've heard from Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Ann Coulter and many other "conservative" commentators this last month is how Mitt Romney is the only Conservative in the race. Now I respect and admire all these people, but they are way wrong on the issue of who the true Conservative is.

The most Conservative candidate that was in the race is now out, Fred Thompson. Mitt Romney is no where close to being a Conservative. John McCain and Mike Huckabee have always had their views on most issues...except McCain on border security and I believe he learned from how his bill was defeated. He heard the people speak. But Mitt Romney began changing his stance on just about all issues as he was getting ready to enter the race. Abortion, 2nd Amendment, gay marriage, taxes (or, as Romney would say, FEES), Vietnam and so many more issues.

On the issue of taxes and fees, Romney raised taxes and fees between $630-million to $880-million, depending out your definition of fees. My definition of fees is still having to pay my money to the government and is no different than taxes.

An America Hero

August 20, 2003 US forces in Iraq had an Iraqi police officer in custody, on suspicion of knowledge of imminent attacks against his battalion. US forces were interrogating the police officer and getting nowhere. The officer in charge, retired Colonel Allen West, had enough and took over the interrogation. After still not getting the information, Colonel West pulled out is 9mm pistol and discharged the weapon above the suspects head, causing no harm. And surprise, surprise...we got the information. For the rest of the duration of Colonel West's leadership no attacks were made against his battalion. Many American lives were spared but, despite the lives being saved, Democrats called for his court martial.

Outrageously, Colonel West, an America hero, was punished and fined 5,000 dollars. Despited Democratic calls for his court martial, 95 members of congress signed a letter, in support of Colonel West, and sent it to the Secretary of the Army. The result was Colonel West retiring honorably (the way any American hero should) and getting all the benefits owed to him.

Colonel West is currently running for Florida's 22nd US Congressional District, hoping to unseat Democrat Rep. Ron Klein. So to those in Florida, Colonel Allen West is an American hero and would make a great American Congressman. He will stay true to Conservative values. Colonel West will make a commitment to end earmarks, shrink government, cut taxes, reduced our debt by cutting the budget (not more taxing like the Democrats want), strengthen our relationship with our most beloved ally Israel, secure our borders, not play partisan politics and ensure victory in Iraq and Afghanistan. War Monger or Patriot?

I never was that into politics until the beginning of last year when President Bush announced that the new strategy in Iraq would be a surge. I was shocked at all the opposition that President Bush got from the left. So I started to follow what was going on in our country very closely.

In the last year I've seen and heard people call for President Bush's impeachment for, so called, "war crimes" and "crimes against humanity". I've also seen Iran grow bolder in there opposition to America because of all the fighting here. Liberals just cannot seem to understand that, no matter what we do, if we don't bow down to Islam then terrorists and sponsors of terrism(i.e. Iran) will never stop taking innocent lives. When you try explaining that to a liberal, who lives in a fanasty world of nothing but peace and marijuana, they call you a "war monger". I've learned to wear that name with honor and pride, just like I do as a member of the "vast right-wing conspiracy".

Now here we are, a year after the troop surge in Iraq, and violence is down, Iraqis are joining together to combat terrorists, American and Iraqi troop deaths are down, we're beginning to remove troops from Iraq, we're handing over control to the Iraqi military, Iraqis are sharing oil revenues, all political parties are being represented, laws are being passed and citizens are beginning to feel safe to walk the streets and return home. And what do the anti-American liberals say? They say that would should have pulled out all our troops a long time ago and leave millions of innocent people to die. We should of pulled out and let Iran take the country over and use it as a training ground for terrorists. We should never have gone in, even though their King (Bill Clinton) said that he also believed the intel. Our government was in on 9/11. We should give terrorists rights that we have in our courts. That we should allow Iran to do whatever they want. That we should let Iran take out Israel. That our troops are the ones causing terror. That we should SURRENDER! Even after they say all those things, they have the audacity to say that they support the troops, that they are more patriotic than I and that we are the enemy.

If we follow the path that liberals want to go down then what we are going to end up with is country that is inferior to those like Iran, China, Venezuela, Russia, North Korea and Syria. We will have a country were freedom no longer exists. But hey, it's okay because we will have the freedom to go and get high. I don't want a country like that and I hope you don't either.

Republican Chaos

Iowa was Huckabee's, Wyoming Romney's and New Hampshire belonged to McCain. I think it's pretty fair to say that the Republican race is very chaotic and very wide open. Rudy is waiting for Super Tuesday and Thompson is hoping for the South.

Fred Thompson will most likely not stay in it too long because he basically has no strategy.

It's probably do or die for Romney in Michigan. He has lost two races in which he has outspent his opponents by at least 7 to 1 or more (not to mention one was his neighboring state) and he has run a pretty negative campaign, voters don't seem to respect that very much. Romney may not drop out after Michigan because he does have the money to stay in the race for a while, but it would be highly unlikely that he gets much support. If Romney cannot win Michigan (the state in which he was born and his father was governor), I think it's pretty fair to say that his chances are pretty much gone.

Rudy is putting all his dice in Florida, but that may not work with Huckabee right there with him. If Huckabee can pull off a victory or good showing in the states leading up to Florida and Super Tuesday, and it looks like he could, then he may get enough momentum to upset Rudy in Florida. A loss in Florida would greatly hurt Rudy's campaign and would give McCain and Huckabee a better chance to make it a two man race between them.

Huckabee got a huge boost from Iowa and showed that he is viable from his third place in New Hampshire. He is currently running second in Michigan and South Carolina to John McCain. A second place finish to McCain in Michigan would most likely knock Romney out of the running (although Romney would probably stay in a little longer because he has the money) and give him more support in the primaries following Michigan, but a loss in South Carolina could do great damage his campaign because of the number of Christians in South Carolina. If Huckabee cannot keep those evangelicals then he will lose his greatest base of support.

John McCain has the brightest future in this race (in my opinion). He proved, like Huckabee, that money will not buy an election and defeated Romney in New Hampshire. He is also showing the he is the most trustworthy by telling the truth about his record and just straight-talking with the people. He's stealing Romney's support in Michigan and Huckabee's evangelicals in South Carolina. Another advantage the McCain and Huckabee both enjoy is their ability to attract the Independent vote.

Now I just want to set a few things straight for the people: Romney attacked John McCain about his record on the Bush tax cuts. The truth about that, and what McCain makes very clear, is that he didn't support the tax cuts because they didn't have spending cuts along with them. Romney also attacked McCain on supporting Bush's immigration bill but fails to mention that he also supported it until he decided to run for President, just another one of those flip-flops that are so common in Romney.

Next comes Huckabee. Romney attacked Huckabee because he raised taxes in Arkansas, again Romney is not telling the whole truth. Huckabee raised taxes only after the people voted overwhelmingly for the increase with 70-80 percent in favor. Romney also fails to mention that he raised taxes in his own state (though he calls them fees). He has also claimed that Mike Huckabee gives illegals special privileges, which is not true. What he is talking about is Huckabbe allowing the children of illegals, who have attended Arkansas schools their entire education careers, to pay in-state tuition rates for college. What Romney makes it sound like is that Huckabee was letting any illegal come to Arkansas and get those rates and that's just not true.

I've had lots of respect for Mitt Romney and even supported him as my second choice until he started with a negative ads. A few negatives are ok, but when that's all you do it's not what people respect.

Iranian Provocation

I'm sure that most of you are already aware of the threat Iran made to the US Navy over the weekend. If you are not then here is the story, Iran Confrontation. This is further proof that, even with the latest intelligence report finding Iran halted it's nuclear weapons program, Iran is still a threat to America. They still have not stopped enriching uranium.

Some liberals are comparing this incident to what happened last May when we sent another carrier to the Gulf region in a show of military strength. What happened last May was Iran continually provoking the US, defying the United Nations and murding American troops in Iraq, America basically said, "Hey, back off. We're bigger than you and you need to stop." What happened over the weekend was Iran trying to provoke the US into a fight by threatening our ships and saying they were going to "explode." The timing of this threat comes as President Bush is making is trip to the Middle-East. When Ahmedinejad came to New York, we didn't do anything like this (although we probably should have).

America is a country that promotes peace and democracy, but we are also a country that will cut down any threat to our national security. We don't force other countries to do anything unless they are a threat to us. You can make the claim that we shouldn't have gone into Iraq and I can respect that view (because we went in on faulty intelligence), but the fact is that we are there and if we were to leave now, it would be catastrophic for the United States. There's no doubt that Iran would just go in and take over, it would also emboldened our enemies all over the world. Attacks on the United States, and our bases and embassies around the world, would rise because we would be seen by our enemies as weak. It would also result in a massacre (genocide) in Iraq. It would be just like Vietnam (and if you think we had a bad image after that, just wait and see what our image would be like if Democrats got their way).

Democrats are always say that President Bush's foreign policy is disastrous and it is ruining our ties with other countries. Well, the only ties it is ruining is ties with countries that are supporting terrorism, cheating on trade and making threats against America. One example is Russia, they are helping Iran with their nuclear program and directly undermining the UN. Other examples are China and Venezuela. If these countries are going to support our enemies, then we do not need good ties with them. On the other hand, Bush has strengthened relationships with the UK, Germany, France, Mexico, Canada and many more. Our relationships with these countries are better than they have ever been.

They also voted to honor the Islamic holiday of Ramadan. Now there's nothing wrong with condemning the persecution of anyone or respecting the religion of anyone, but there is something wrong when Democrats vote for religious tolerance for Muslims but refuse to do the same for Christians, especially when it is known that Christians are the most persecuted people in the world, more than any other peoples around the world.

Diversity

People often talk about "diversity" in our schools, jobs and government and we've all heard the different classifications (such as race, age, gender and nationality). I believe in diversity, to an extent (meaning I believe that merit should come first), but liberals have spun that way out of control. They've now added "sexual orientation" to the list of categories pertaining to diversity.

Now, they have been using this term for quite a while but I haven't heard anyone really challenge it much. How liberals come up with this? I don't know, but what I do know is that the question of sexual orientation is simple, you're either a male or female. There isn't an "in between". There is also a very simple and easy solution to gays and lesbians claiming that they are discriminated against in the workplace, school and so forth. That solution is to not flaunt their immoral behavior.

The reason I'm writing this right now is not to incite any hatred or ill will against gays or lesbians, but to show that the liberal left has completely gone off the deep end. They use the issue of diversity to push their liberal agenda and make our schools into indoctrination centers. They claim that gay, lesbian and "transgendered" students (whatever the hell that means) are the ones that are discriminated against, yet it's the students that have family morals, the student that don't drink their koolaid, those students are the ones that are always in trouble for not accepting other students immoral lifestyles in our schools.

Gays and lesbians are allowed to promote their lifestyles and even got a "day of silence" from schools (while, at the same time, trying to take away our children's right to a moment of silence after the Pledge of Allegiance), but when a student with American values wore a t-shirt claiming that it was "Adam and Eve, Not Adam and Steve" that student was suspended.

The left's agenda is also being pushed by our schools with the emergence of days such as "Gender Bender Day" (Des Moines, IA) and "Gender Switch Day" (Bay Area, CA) where students are encouraged to dress in clothes of the opposite sex. When the students do not they are ridiculed. All they are doing it following what the believe and following the Bible, which says, "Deut. 22:5. The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God."

This Thanksgiving, while we were saying the blessing, I wondered how many families actually prayed for our soldiers, country and leaders during their Thanksgiving prayer. I really don't know how many prayed for that or if they even prayed at all (with the ACLU trying to take that away). So what I would like to do today is say a prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today to thank you for for all that you have given us and the wonderful freedoms we enjoy because You are so gracious.

We pray for our brave troops that are fighting for our freedoms and blessings and ask that You be with them in this fight they are fighting. That You keep them safe and help them to do what they need to do and come home.

We pray that You be with our leaders that we have chosen to lead this great nation that you have given us. We pray that You will give them the wisdom that is needing to lead in the way that You would have them lead.

We pray that You will give us the wisdom and strength to follow you in this lost and confused world. We ask that You help us to keep focused on You and not all the worldly things. To please You and not the world.

We thank You for what You have given us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We know that we are not worthy of Your Son but are forever grateful. You have given us the greatest gift, and that gift has given us a light to follow in this dark world.

Huckabee Now in Dead Heat in Iowa

Former Arkansas Governor and Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee is still gaining more ground in the Republican primary. In Iowa he now holds second place the 24%, following Romney by just four points. With the 4.5% margin of error, that means that Huckabee could indeed be winning in Iowa.

Huckabee's support has tripled since July, when he only held 8% of the vote. Romney's supports has pretty much stayed the same, going from 26% to 28%.

The Huckabee campaign has also raised more than 1 million dollars in the first 20 days of November. They were striving for 1 million and raised $1,043,496.41, well above their expectations.

Huckabee has also gotten support from Hollywood, which most see as very liberal and very crazy, with the endorsement of Chuck Norris and pro-wrestler Ric Flair, showing that a conservative can get support from hollywood.

“We think we are on target not only to do well in Iowa but to go on with that momentum and do better than expected in New Hampshire...I am not sure what will happen but for 11 months people have been writing my political obituary and we are talking today about the Mike Huckabee surge – we were talking about the Mike Huckabee dirge a few months ago, so I say just keep watching, this thing is not over yet,” said Huckabee.

Here we go again. California Rep. Nancy Pelosi is going to try to undermine our troops and generals in Iraq by tying troop reduction to the EMERGENCY war spending request.

Democrats don't care that we are winning in Iraq, like I've said before, they are only interested in playing politics to get more votes. We are currently in the process of strategically pulling out troops, but Democrats want it their way. What they have been fighting for is to get our troops out of Iraq, now that we are succeeding President Bush has started to pull troops out yet Democrats don't care. It just shows that no matter what, Democrats are anti-Bush, anti-national security and anti-military. They don't support the troops, even when our brave troops are succeeding, and don't care about the consequences that would occur of we ran like wimps and let Iran take over.

"This plan we're hearing about to handcuff our generals and starve our troops is ill-advised. We are succeeding in Iraq. There is already a plan to allow many of our troops to come home. It's hard to speed it up," said Ohio Rep. and House Minority Leader John Boehner.

Democrats are more interested in opposing Republicans to appease their far-left ATM's, like MoveOn.org, than about our national security. Some Democrats, such as Hillary Clinton, voted not to label Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps. as a terrorist organization even while they are aiding in the murder of American troops. This is the kind of stuff that we are talking about when we say that Democrats are unpatriotic and do not support our troops. Even one of there own, Senator Joe Lieberman, sees that Democrats are more interested in playing politics.

"There is something profoundly wrong — something that should trouble all of us — when we have elected Democratic officials who seem more worried about how the Bush administration might respond to Iran's murder of our troops, than about the fact that Iran is murdering our troops," said Lieberman.

Iraqis Returning to Iraq

46,030 Iraqi refugees returned to their homes in the month of October. They returned because of the success that we have been having in Iraq since the surge. But even with this success, liberals still want to tuck tail an run. They want defeat when it's clear we are winning.

"The level of terrorist operations has dropped in most of the capital's neighborhoods, due to the good performance of the armed forces," said General Qassim al-Moussawi, Iraqi spokesman for U.S.-Iraqi military.

Democrats continuing to try to end this war just shows that all they are doing is playing politics. Even when it's clear that we are winning and that to leave now would guarantee a terrorist breeding ground for Iran, they choose to do what is better for their votes than what is better for America. I want this war over as well, but we have to leave when we seal victory and not before.

Only 26% of Americans want us out of Iraq immediately, according to a RasmussenReports Poll, the most accurate polling firm in America, yet Democrats are telling the Bush Administration to listen to the will of the people. Why don't they follow their own advice and see that 68% of Americans want to at least give our troops another year because they can see that the surge has worked. Again, the hypocrisy of the Democrats.

Huckabee Still on the Move

Former Arkansas Governor and Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee is still moving on up. He has passed Arizona Senator John McCain and Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney for third place.

According to RamussenReports , the most accurate polling firm in the country, Huckabee holds 3rd place with 14%, trailing Fred Thompson by just 2%; John McCain has 13% and Romney rounds out the top tier with 11%. Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani is still the front runner with 24%.

Mike Huckabee is showing that he is the true conservative of the candidates and people are starting to realize that he has what it takes to win (or at least get a VP spot).

I like Rudy, John, Fred and Mitt, but I believe that Mike Huckabee is the most conservative candidate and the most consistent. His conservative credentials beat all others running for the office of President of the United States. He is pro-life, pro-higher education, supports preventive health care, pro-fair tax, knows that marriage is between one man and one woman, understands that we need to be energy and food independent, supports our troops, knows the dangers of "islamofacism" and is pro-2nd amendment. You can't get much better than that and that is why I will be voting for Mike.

Overwhelming Majority?

I always hear Democrats taking about the overwhelming majority of Americans wanting our troops to leave Iraq immediately. But what I ask is where they get those figures?

RasmussenReports , the most accurate polling firm in the country, has consistently had the percentage of Americans wanting the troops home immediately between 20-30 percent. Not overwhelming at all. They also have the percentage of Americans, that want us out of Iraq within a year at 57 percent. That also is not overwhelming at all. Yet Democrats are the ones saying that the Bush administration is out of touch with reality? But that's not true, it's Democrats that are out of touch with reality and in touch with radicals like the dailykos and code pink.

I think that an overwhelming majority of Americans do want us out of Iraq, after we accomplish our mission there and not prematurely. Leaving too early will give the country of Iraq to Iran (a terrorist country) and endanger America. There is only one type of peace with animals like Ahmadinejad and that is "peace through superior fire power." It is already evident that diplomacy will not work with him (that's what we have been trying), and we cannot afford to let Iran get nuclear weapons or give them a breeding ground to create their terrorists (Iraq).

When the Democratic candidates are asked about Iran they answer with "diplomacy." I guess that they really are idiots because that's exactly what President Bush is using, Iran is just refusing to cooperate.

According to Rasmussen Reports, the most accurate polling firm in the country, Governor Huckabee now stands at a strong 4th with 12 percent of the vote. Giuliani has 20%, Thompson 19%, McCain 14% and Romney with 11%. This comes after a strong win at the Values Voter Presidential Debate and an endorsement by martial artist/actor/WND columnist Chuck Norris.

"Though Giuliani might be savvy enough to lead people, Fred Thompson wise enough to wade through the tides of politics, McCain tough enough to fight terrorism, and Romney business-minded enough to grow our economy, I believe the only one who has all of the characteristics to lead America forward into the future is ex-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee," wrote Norris.

I believe that Norris is a smart man and applaud his support for Mike Huckabee. Although Huckabee is still long-shot for the nomination, I believe that he may be able to pull it off. He's a honest Christian, patriotic American and will defend this country because he knows the threat of "IslamoFacism".

Romney Takes Tough Stance on Iran

Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney has said that he would use a "blockade or bombardment" to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. This came as President Bush announced new sanctions against Iran.

"If for some reasons they continue down their course of folly toward nuclear ambition, then I would take military action if that's available to us...That's an option that's on the table. And it's is not something which we'll spell out specifically. I really can't lay out exactly how that would be done, but we have a number of options from blockade to bombardment of some kind. And that's something we very much have to keep on the table, and we will ready ourselves to be able to take, because, frankly, I think it's unacceptable for Iran to have nuclear weapons," said Romney

Democrats, of course, are throwing a fit because there are true patriots who will stand against terrorism and Democrats can't stand the fact the people are realizing how unpatriotic they are. They would rather bow down to Iran and let them have nuclear weapons than stand up against a terrorist regime.

"The aggressive actions taken today by the administration absent any corresponding diplomatic action is exactly what we all should have known was coming when we considered our vote on the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment, and smacks, frankly, of a dangerous step toward armed confrontation with Iran," Presidential candidate Chris Dodd said about the Bush Administration's new sanctions on Iran. What I ask is how this idiot Dodd says that there is not "corresponding diplomatic action?" What we are doing now is diplomacy, Iran is just refusing to cooperate. But we have to remember, diplomacy to Democrats is just laying down and letter terrorists walk all over you.

The fact, is right now we are using diplomacy with the terrorist country of Iran and it is not working. Even France sees this. If Iran continues to not cooperate we would have to try something else and frankly, the only thing that works with animals like Ahmadinejad is to beat them into submission (military force). I hope and pray that this confrontation with Iran can be handled without the use of military force, but it doesn't look like Iran will cooperate. Romney has taken a tough stance against Iran and it looks like he will continue to do so. Democrats Intent On Raising Taxes

Democrats in the Senate have passed a $600 billion health, education bill. That exceeds the White House's budget by more than $10 billion. It's bills like these that are going to raise taxes on the American people, but that's what the Democrats are all about, socialism (stealing from the successful and redistributing the money).

"The spending hike they are asking for in this one bill, if allowed to continue at the same rate, will cost the American taxpayer $120 billion over the next ten years," said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.

With Democrats passing these bills, President Bush will have no choice but to veto. I trust that the president will not let this overspending go without a fight. What Democrats are doing could delay the passage of many of the bills to next year, yet the fiscal year has already started. They're going to try to pin it on President Bush, like they did with SCHIP and the Frost kid, but they're not going to fool anyone. Democrats are all about taxing and that's never going to stop.

Another problem in the Senate is the problem with earmarking. Both Democrats and Republicans are guilty for this. 1,000 earmarks totaling $562 million are included in this bill. Republican Senator Tom Coburn, of Oklahoma, moved to strip all earmarks from the bill but his measure fell short 68-26. At least we know that have have a true fiscal conservative in Senator Coburn.

Al Sharpton, and other civil rights leaders, have called on American's to boycott our economy on November 2. They are asking Americans not to spend any money on that day and plan to march on the Justice Department.

Al Sharpton claims that the Justice Department does not prosecute hate crimes like it should. Well Rev. Sharpton, attacking an innocent kid and jumping him (6 on 1) is a lot worse than hanging some nooses on a tree. The principal expelled those responsible for the noose incident and that was overturned by the school board, so the people you should go after are those on the board. The Justice department has nothing to do with that.

For those 6 to react the way they did and attack someone that had nothing to do with the nooses just shows a lack of character. It was a joke and to react with the type of violence they did is wrong. I do think that those responsible for the nooses need to be punished but that should be left to the school. I don't believe that Bell should be prosecuted as an adult, but at the same time I don't agree with the "Racist" Al Sharpton that it was just a school yard fight. If it was a fair 1 on 1 fight then yes, it's a school yard fight. That's not what happened and those 6 do need to be prosecuted for what they did (just not as adults).

What do racists like Sharpton gain from hurting the American economy? I really don't know, but it does show lack of patriotism. What they are basically saying is "lets ruin America to prove a stupid point!" It's dumb and I hope many will see past their creative speaking and spend as much you can on November 2. Spending money on that day will do two things: improve the American economy and protest the racism that Sharpton and others like him promote. Unlike them, I want America to progress and prosper. Chertoff Pursues Border Security

Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff has used his power to bypass a ruling by a federal judge. The judge ordered the Department of Homeland Security to halt construction of the border fence in Arizona because of environmental issues. Chertoff used his authority to continue construction.

Defenders of Wildlife and the Sierra Club are the groups that sued and are now criticizing Chertoff for his decision to bypass the ruling. They claim that Chertoff is aware that the border fence has some failures and that his decision contradicts his decision to study the environmental effects of the fence in Texas.

What these tree hugging groups do not realize is that our national security and sovereignty is more important than some fish dying. These environmentalists care more about animals than they do about the safety of Americans. American's cannot enjoy these conservation areas because they are being run by smugglers and it is dangerous for Americans to be there. It is American land and it should be safe for Americans to enjoy.

War On Boy Scouts

The war against the Boy Scouts of America continues in Philadelphia. Philadelphia City Council has voted to up the organizations rent by 199,999 dollars a year.

In 1928 the city council voted to rent the property to the organization for 1 dollar a year but, because of groups like the ACLU, it has voted to charge 200,000 dollars a year for the property. All this because gays claim the group discriminates. If promoting family values is discrimination then yes they discriminate.

The higher rent "would have to come from programs. That's 30 new Cub Scout packs, or 800 needy kids going to our summer camp," said Jeff Jubelirer, spokesman for the Cradle of Liberty Council. "It's disappointing, and it's certainly a threat."

"When it comes to a Scout troop, sexual orientation is an issue that goes beyond differences in skin color or economic status. It affects such matters as tenting arrangements and the development of pre-teenage masculinity in a close-knit group of boys and men," said Hans Zeiger, author of, "Get Off My Honor: The Assault on the Boy Scouts of America"

"So here's what I say to the radical Left in the city where the Declaration of Independence was signed. Take away the funding. Seize the 75-year-old headquarters building. The Scouts can survive without it," Zeiger also wrote.

The ACLU is also fighting the Boy Scouts of America because of the oath that they take. They make an oath to "do my duty to God and my country." Because of our God being in the BSA oath the ACLU is doing all it can to prevent these great kids from using any government property. Earlier this year the BSA got a victory when the ACLU brought on a lawsuit to stop the Defense Department from allowing the Scouts to hold its National Jamboree every four years at Fort A.P. Hill in Fredericksburg, Va.

The ACLU claims that it just wants equal civil rights for everyone, but they are just a radical left-wing group intent on fighting traditional values. When the framers of the Constitution wrote "Our Creator", they meant God (Our Holy Father in Heaven). Next the ACLU is going to say that the Framers were wrong and that "Creator" should be taken out of the Constitution.

Man, what is wrong with Harry Reid? He tried to take some credit for what Rush did with that illegal letter that he and other Democratic senators sent to him and signed? If you haven't heard or seen the videos they will both be at the end of this post. The first will be the video of Reid taking two words, that Rush Limbaugh said, out of context and condemning them; the second will be a link to the video of Reid thanking Rush and trying to take credit for the money being raised.

Senator Reid realized that his plan had backfired and tried to steal some of the credit from Rush. What he's trying to do is cover up the fact that what they did was wrong and illegal and say that this letter was something great because of what he did. It's great that the money will go to the Marine Corps. Law Enforcement Foundation , but it doesn't take away from the fact that what Reid and other Democratic Senators did, including Hillary Clinton, was wrong and illegal. Dems Urging Turkey to Destabilize Iraq

The Turkish Parliament has voted to authorize it's government to order an incursion into Iraq for the next year if it so chooses. They did this because Democrats in congress brought up the Armenian "genocide" bill Link .

Democrats knew, well before hand, that to bring up this bill and approve it to the floor would hurt ties with Turkey and put our military in more danger than it already is. If Turkey decides to attack the northern part of Iraq it could destabilize the rest of the country and put our troops in more danger.

Turkey is also our main transportation line for supplies and equipment to Iraq. By approving the bill to go to the house floor, Democrats have weakened ties with our NATO Ally. Turkey could stop us from using their country to transport much needed cargo to Iraq and that would also hurt our troops.

It's because of actions like these that Democrats seem so unpatriotic. It's not because they are against the war, it's because they will do anything, even put our troops in danger, for political purposes. The safety of our troops is much more important than pleasing a group that wants to go back in history. Obviously Democrats feel otherwise and believe that pleasing another group would help them politically, even if it means hurting our troops.

If Turkey does invade and it destabilizes the rest of Iraq, then Democrats and any Republicans or Independents that voted or will vote for this bill will be directly responsible for anything that happens to our troops in Iraq. Liberal Media Invested in Defeat

Our troops are beating Al Qaeda in Iraq. In the last few months the military has dealt major blows to the terrorist group and some generals are advocating a declaration of victory.

I went to ABCNews.com, CBSNews.com and NewYorkTimes.com and no where on their homepages did I see any mention of this. Blackwater, death rates dropping and Communist China were the headlines on those site but there was no mention of the progress that was being made in Iraq. The kind of progress we are having there is more important than anything else they are reporting on. Those other stories are good news but you can't leave the most important stuff out. If it were the other way around and generals were saying that Al Qaeda in Iraq was forcing us out, these news outlets would be all over it. This just shows how much the liberal media is invested in defeat. They don't want anything positive coming out of Iraq.

I hope that you all will realize that these media outlets are not interested in victory and want badly for our troops to fail. They are in bed with the Democratic party and will do anything and everything to turn Americans against their own country. It sad but true. MSNBC had this story as it's headline. Forced to Watch Propaganda

The City of Albuquerque is requiring city employees to watch " An Inconvenient Truth" by Al Gore. City employees called City Councilors to complain about having to watch political propaganda for three and a half hours and it being mandatory.

City Councilor Sally Mayer, a Republican, was among a few of the councilors that received calls from angry employees. "He was livid, and he said, 'I can't believe they took three and half hours of my morning and made me watch the movie...I think it's probably a waste of employees' time," said Mayer.

"I had no idea about it until I got a call from a city employee who was absolutely outraged he had to sit in on a political propaganda videotape from Al Gore...It's totally ridiculous to me. It's a waste of time and taxpayer money," said City Councilor Brad Winter.

City Council President Debbie O'Malley also said that she had received calls from employees who were not happy about having to watch the propaganda.

Mayor Martin Chavez, who is running for the Democratic Senate seat, defended the issue and said that it makes sense (surprise, surprise...coming from a liberal)

"I believe this is so the mayor can say he's the first mayor to have all the city workers attend a sustainability conference...This isn't a partisan issue. This is about wasting taxpayer dollars," said Councilor Mayer.

It's easy to see that the Mayor is abusing his power for political purposes by requiring city employees to watch liberal propaganda. This is wrong and the Mayor should be ashamed. Gov. Permits Mental Molestation?

Governor Schwarzenegger signed laws that will ban the use of "Mom" & "Dad" and "Husband" & "Wife". These laws also allows children to use which ever bathroom and locker room they choose (ex. a boy can use girl facilities and a girl can use boy facilities).

By signing these laws the Governor has made public schools into centers to indoctrinate children with homosexual, bisexual and transsexual beliefs. Randy Thomasson, president of Campaign for Children and Families was quoted as saying, "Arnold Schwarzenegger has delivered young children into the hands of those who will introduce them to alternative sexual lifestyles," and "this means children as young as five years old will be mentally molested in school classrooms....Shame on Schwarzenegger and the Democrat politicians for ensuring that every California school becomes a homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination center," he said.

SB777, one of the laws the Governor signed, bans anything that can be interpreted as negative toward alternative lifestyles. That's the law that would ban the use of "Mom and Dad" and "Husband and Wife." This same law does not ban anything that would be negative towards traditional lifestyles. It would also require the curriculum to include positive portrayal of alternative lifestyles which would mean that new textbooks would be needed that would promote homosexual, bisexual and transsexual lifestyles and that would affect the rest of the country because California is one of the biggest purchasers of textbooks in the country.

By allowing children to use which ever bathroom and locker room they want supporters of these laws are opening up the door for molestations in schools and will be directly responsible for this act when they occur.

AB394, another law the the Governor signed, requires that parents teach their children to accept these alternative lifestyles.

These laws are not going to just affect California, they could affect the rest of the country because of the textbooks that are going to be needed for these ridiculous laws. Other schools in the country are going to need to look for new publishers that protect traditional lifestyles (if the major publishers cater to these new California laws) and that could cause a rise in taxes.

Governor Schwarzenegger is now on record as trashing conservative, traditional lifestyles and values and giving special treatment to gay, lesbian and sexually confused students. It's wrong and needs to be corrected and I hope that the conservatives in California can do something about this illegal activity. You have my support and I will be praying for you. Former President of Iran, Hashemi Rafsanjani, said today that the Jews in Germany during the Holocaust were persecuted because they were a "pain in the neck". He also said that the Jews caused problems in Germany because they "had a lot of property" and "controlled an empire of propaganda." Rafsanjani also said that what the Nazis did was successful in saving Europe from the evil of Zionism. Rafsanjani is an idiot.

These are the kind of people that are leading Iran right now, the current President of Iran, Mamoud Ahmadinejad, has also said that the country of Israel should be "wiped off the map." Because of people like these two animals we have to take an aggressive stance against the Iranian government and not engage in talks with Iran without precondition. Democrats, such as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, support talking with these terrorists without preconditions. These terrorist are killing American troops in Iraq and Democrats want to sit down and talk with them? We are long past diplomacy with theses people and it has nothing to do with their nuclear weapons ambitions (although that does add on to it), it's because there are committing acts of war against the United States every day and we can't do anything about because people like Clinton, Obama and the rest of the Democrats want to talk. Democrats Make War Harder for Troops?

Democrats in congress want to pass legislation claiming that the the killing of Armenians in WWI was a genocide. Turkey is threating not to let the U.S. use it's country as a main transportation area for much needed equipment for American troops in Iraq if this legislation is passed.

70 percent of all U.S. cargo going to Iraq goes through Turkey, 1/3 of all the fuel for the troops goes through Turkey and 95 percent of the new Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles goes through Turkey. This legislation would directly affect our military and make the objective in Iraq harder. Why democrats are so hell bent on America's defeat is unknown to me but it is very unpatriotic. Turkey has told us what they may do so Democrats wanting to pass this for political purposes is sick, selfish and not American. Republicans are not excluded from this, if they vote for this they, also, are responsible for undermining our troops.

We are in a time of war and we should not put our political strategies before our support for the troops that are protecting this country from terrorists around the world. What congress needs to do is starting supporting our troops and quit playing politics at the military's expense. Democrats say that the best way to support our troops is to get them out, but I guaranty you that if you talk to the troops an overwhelming majority will believe in the purpose in Iraq and want congress' support by providing them what they need to do the job. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is taking advice from a criminal. That criminal is Sandy Berger. You might remember him, he's the guy that was caught taking and disposing of classified documents from the National Archives right before the hearing on the 9/11 attacks. Now why would he be doing that? Something to do with the wrong doing of the Clinton administration? Most likely, we all know how corrupt the Clintons are.

Now this shouldn't come as a big surprise to anyone, we all know that Hillary will be no different than her husband. If Hillary becomes the next president it will mean a continuation of Bill's presidency and that would mean more corruption. What gets me though is why Hillary would have this guy as an adviser. I really thought that the Clintons were very smart and that's why they could get away with all the things they did over the years. This just goes to prove how stupids she really is. It's not the fact that he's a criminal, not all criminal's are bad because I happen to think that our legals system kinda sucks, but it's what his crime was. This guy took classified documents and disposed of them right before the 9/11 hearings. I don't know why he did it, but I do think it had something to do with Bill Clinton's presidency. It's much worse than what "Scooter" Libby did, yet Libby paid bigger price and had worse repercussions that Berger.

We, as the American people, need to rid Washington of people like the Clintons. We need to put a stop to the corruption on the Democratic side and the Republican side and everyone in between. Terrorist Iran

The terrorist country of Iran held nationwide protests of Israel today. Those protest also turned into "Death to America!" rallies. The Iranian country is nothing more than a country run by a bunch of terrorist. They are, have and will continue to commit "acts of war" against the United States.

There are some, in this country, that want us to engage in bilateral, unconditional talks with Iran and that is completely ludicrous. When a country commits an act of war against you, you don't talk with them, you hit back. You hit back militarily and don't stop until you've beaten the opposition into submission. By training and providing weapons to insurgents in Iraq, Iran is directly responsible for the deaths of American troops. Because of this, the United States should not participate in any more talks with Iran and make them pay for their actions.

Ahmadinejad says that Iran's nuclear ambitions are for peaceful purpose, but Ahmadinejad is nothing more than a lying animal that cannot be trusted. If we leave Iran alone and allow them to develop nuclear weapons, they will not hesitate to use those weapons against Israel and the United States of America. To allow them those capabilities would be the start to a nuclear war that would affect each and every person in the world, including you.

We have to stand firm against the terrorist leaders of Iran and make them know that the United States will not allow them to possess a nuclear weapon and that we will not allow them to continue to kill American troops. Thank-you for reading and God bless.

Democrats Want U.S. to Lose War In Iraq?

A recent poll, done by FoxNews, says that 1 out of every 5 Democrats thinks the world would be better off if the United States just lost the War in Iraq. That is 20 percent of people that call themselves "patriotic Americans". This is what we "right-wingers" mean when we say that a lot of liberal Democrats are unpatriotic.

One out of every five? That is just pathetic, but it just echoes what the Democrats in government are saying. Obama, Murtha, Reid and Kerry have all made unpatriotic remarks about our troops. Is congress condemning them? Of course not, instead they try to condemn Rush Limbaugh for calling a phony soldier a phony soldier. This is the same congress that has an all time low in the polls, and guess who's in charge...Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the Democrats.

We, as true patriotic Americans, need to stand behind out troops and support a victory against the terrorist and insurgents where ever they may be, and this includes Iraq. We cannot give these animals a country in which they can train and build. If we leave Iraq, without finishing the job, that is exactly what we will be giving these terrorists. And they won't stay there either, they will follow us back to America and fight the war here. I prefer the war there, but apparently Democrats in congress want the war here in America, and that's what we are going to get if they get their way.

President Bush vetoed a 35 billion dollar expansion of SCHIP (State Children's Health Insurance Program) today. What you're probably hearing though is that he has decided not to care about child healthcare, which is entirely untrue. President Bush vetoed a bill that would expand the program to included families that make more than $80,000 a year and to include more than 700,000 adults. President Bush asked for a 5 billion dollar expansion to this program (which is enought to run this program over the next five years) and what the Democrats in the Senate have done is completely unnecessary.

This program was created to insure those children whose families do not qualify for Medicaid but cannot afford private insurance. The bill that the Senate passed would encourage families that already have private insurance to drop their insurance and get free insurance through this program. It would be step back from America's values and a step toward Socialism.

Democrats were going to pay for this program by raising the tax on cigarettes from .39 to 1.00 a box (that's over a 150% increase). That tax hike would hit the lower class the hardest because studies show that lower income parents are more like to smoke than higher income parents. But wait...I thought that Democrats fight for the poor? Once again, the hypocrisy of the Democrats rearing it's ugly head. And it would not just be a tax hike on cigarettes; what happens when the Democrats want to include more in this program? Our taxes are going to sky-rocket!!! I don't want to give half or more of everything I earn to the government, do you? I would hope not because we are suppose to live in a Capitalist society not a Socialist (Communist) society.

So here's the message to Congress: Lower taxes (keep your dirty hands out of my pockets), shrink the government and quit trying to impose liberal, secular and lunatic views and opinions on me and my family!!! Thank-you for reading and God bless.

Democrats and Hypocrisy

The Democratic presidential candidates have really had me thinking about their hypocrisy lately. John Edwards is just about to take tax-payer money to fund is campaign because he hasn't raised enough money. Where is the rest of the field, I mean aren't Democrats the ones that believe everyone should have an equal playing field? Aren't they the ones that want to tax the successful to give benefits to the poor, to even out the playing field? Where are they when one of their own is in need of help? Oh, that's right, they're all hypocrites.

The truth is that all they want and care about is power. They really don't care that the poor don't have medical insurance, they care that because of that they can gain more power buy the lower class depending on the government for their healthcare. They want to tell you what you can and cannot drive, what types of food you can and cannot eat, what doctors you can go to, what you can charge for any services to provide...ect. Well I for one will not let the government run my life for me.

If we, the American people, allow these people to run the government they are going to end up running our lives. They are going to change America from a capitalist country to a socialist country. Is that what you guys want; to not be rewarded for your hard work, to have somebody the works half as hard as you do to make as much as you make because these communists say it's fair?
