Diversity

People often talk about "diversity" in our schools, jobs and government and we've all heard the different classifications (such as race, age, gender and nationality). I believe in diversity, to an extent (meaning I believe that merit should come first), but liberals have spun that way out of control. They've now added "sexual orientation" to the list of categories pertaining to diversity.

Now, they have been using this term for quite a while but I haven't heard anyone really challenge it much. How liberals come up with this? I don't know, but what I do know is that the question of sexual orientation is simple, you're either a male or female. There isn't an "in between". There is also a very simple and easy solution to gays and lesbians claiming that they are discriminated against in the workplace, school and so forth. That solution is to not flaunt their immoral behavior.

The reason I'm writing this right now is not to incite any hatred or ill will against gays or lesbians, but to show that the liberal left has completely gone off the deep end. They use the issue of diversity to push their liberal agenda and make our schools into indoctrination centers. They claim that gay, lesbian and "transgendered" students (whatever the hell that means) are the ones that are discriminated against, yet it's the students that have family morals, the student that don't drink their koolaid, those students are the ones that are always in trouble for not accepting other students immoral lifestyles in our schools.

Gays and lesbians are allowed to promote their lifestyles and even got a "day of silence" from schools (while, at the same time, trying to take away our children's right to a moment of silence after the Pledge of Allegiance), but when a student with American values wore a t-shirt claiming that it was "Adam and Eve, Not Adam and Steve" that student was suspended.

The left's agenda is also being pushed by our schools with the emergence of days such as "Gender Bender Day" (
Des Moines, IA) and "Gender Switch Day" (Bay Area, CA) where students are encouraged to dress in clothes of the opposite sex. When the students do not they are ridiculed. All they are doing it following what the believe and following the Bible, which says, "Deut. 22:5. The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God."

Thanking God

This Thanksgiving, while we were saying the blessing, I wondered how many families actually prayed for our soldiers, country and leaders during their Thanksgiving prayer. I really don't know how many prayed for that or if they even prayed at all (with the ACLU trying to take that away). So what I would like to do today is say a prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today to thank you for for all that you have given us and the wonderful freedoms we enjoy because You are so gracious.

We pray for our brave troops that are fighting for our freedoms and blessings and ask that You be with them in this fight they are fighting. That You keep them safe and help them to do what they need to do and come home.

We pray that You be with our leaders that we have chosen to lead this great nation that you have given us. We pray that You will give them the wisdom that is needing to lead in the way that You would have them lead.

We pray that You will give us the wisdom and strength to follow you in this lost and confused world. We ask that You help us to keep focused on You and not all the worldly things. To please You and not the world.

We thank You for what You have given us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We know that we are not worthy of Your Son but are forever grateful. You have given us the greatest gift, and that gift has given us a light to follow in this dark world.

And lastly, we pray for our enemies who are lost in this world. We pray that You may soften their hearts so that they may come to know You.

We pray all this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ

More Democrat Hypocrisy Backed With More Facts

When some claim that President Bush shouldn't
have started this war, they need to look at the FACTS:


a. FDR led us into World War II.

b. Germany never attacked us ; Japan did.

From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost an average of 112,500 per year.

c. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea

North Korea never attacked us .

From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of 18,334 per year.


d. John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.

Vietnam never attacked us.


e. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost ..an average of 5,800 per year.


f. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us .

He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three
times by Sudan and did nothing.

Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.


g. In the years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya , Iran , and, North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.


The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking.


But Wait


It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound.

That was a 51-day operation..


We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.


It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.


It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida !!!


Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB !

Some people still don't understand why military personnel do what they do for a living. This exchange between Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard Metzenbaum is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive impromptu speech, but it's also a good example of one man's explanation of why men and women in the armed services do what they do for a living.


This IS a typical, though sad, example of what some who have never served think of the military.


Senator Metzenbaum (speaking to Senator Glenn):
'How can you run for Senate when you've never held a real job?'


Senator Glenn (D-Ohio):
'I served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps. I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions. My plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire on 12 different occasions I was in the space program. It wasn't my checkbook, Howard; it was my life on the line. It was not a nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the daily cash receipts to the bank.'


'I ask you to go with me . . as I went the other day...to a veteran's hospital and look those men .. with their mangled bodies .. in the eye, and tell THEM they didn't hold a job!


You go with me to the Space Program at NASA and go, as I have gone, to the widows and Orphans of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee...and you look those kids in the eye and tell them that their DADS didn't hold a job.


You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in A rlington National Cemetery, where I have more friends buried than I'd like to remember, and you watch those waving flags.


You stand there, and you think about this nation, and you tell ME that those people didn't have a job?


What about you? For those who don't remember. During W.W.II, Howard Metzenbaum was an attorney representing the Communist Party in the USA .

Huckabee Now in Dead Heat in Iowa

Former Arkansas Governor and Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee is still gaining more ground in the Republican primary. In Iowa he now holds second place the 24%, following Romney by just four points. With the 4.5% margin of error, that means that Huckabee could indeed be winning in Iowa.

Huckabee's support has tripled since July, when he only held 8% of the vote. Romney's supports has pretty much stayed the same, going from 26% to 28%.

The Huckabee campaign has also raised more than 1 million dollars in the first 20 days of November. They were striving for 1 million and raised $1,043,496.41, well above their expectations.

Huckabee has also gotten support from Hollywood, which most see as very liberal and very crazy, with the endorsement of Chuck Norris and pro-wrestler Ric Flair, showing that a conservative can get support from hollywood.

“We think we are on target not only to do well in Iowa but to go on with that momentum and do better than expected in New Hampshire...I am not sure what will happen but for 11 months people have been writing my political obituary and we are talking today about the Mike Huckabee surge – we were talking about the Mike Huckabee dirge a few months ago, so I say just keep watching, this thing is not over yet,” said Huckabee.

Like if said before, and I'll keep saying until it's over, Huckabee is someone voters need to watch and learn about. If you're looking for the true conservative then you've found him. Thank you for reading and God Bless.

Democrats Still Not With Our Troops

Here we go again. California Rep. Nancy Pelosi is going to try to undermine our troops and generals in Iraq by tying troop reduction to the EMERGENCY war spending request.

Democrats don't care that we are winning in Iraq, like I've said before, they are only interested in playing politics to get more votes. We are currently in the process of strategically pulling out troops, but Democrats want it their way. What they have been fighting for is to get our troops out of Iraq, now that we are succeeding President Bush has started to pull troops out yet Democrats don't care. It just shows that no matter what, Democrats are anti-Bush, anti-national security and anti-military. They don't support the troops, even when our brave troops are succeeding, and don't care about the consequences that would occur of we ran like wimps and let Iran take over.

"This plan we're hearing about to handcuff our generals and starve our troops is ill-advised. We are succeeding in Iraq. There is already a plan to allow many of our troops to come home. It's hard to speed it up," said Ohio Rep. and House Minority Leader John Boehner.

Democrats are more interested in opposing Republicans to appease their far-left ATM's, like MoveOn.org, than about our national security. Some Democrats, such as Hillary Clinton, voted not to label Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps. as a terrorist organization even while they are aiding in the murder of American troops. This is the kind of stuff that we are talking about when we say that Democrats are unpatriotic and do not support our troops. Even one of there own, Senator Joe Lieberman, sees that Democrats are more interested in playing politics.

"There is something profoundly wrong — something that should trouble all of us — when we have elected Democratic officials who seem more worried about how the Bush administration might respond to Iran's murder of our troops, than about the fact that Iran is murdering our troops," said Lieberman.

Democrats, you need to wake up and see the America does want to leave Iraq, once we achieve victory. Thank you for reading and God Bless

Iraqis Returning to Iraq

46,030 Iraqi refugees returned to their homes in the month of October. They returned because of the success that we have been having in Iraq since the surge. But even with this success, liberals still want to tuck tail an run. They want defeat when it's clear we are winning.

"The level of terrorist operations has dropped in most of the capital's neighborhoods, due to the good performance of the armed forces," said General Qassim al-Moussawi, Iraqi spokesman for U.S.-Iraqi military.

Democrats continuing to try to end this war just shows that all they are doing is playing politics. Even when it's clear that we are winning and that to leave now would guarantee a terrorist breeding ground for Iran, they choose to do what is better for their votes than what is better for America. I want this war over as well, but we have to leave when we seal victory and not before.

Only 26% of Americans want us out of Iraq immediately, according to a RasmussenReports Poll, the most accurate polling firm in America, yet Democrats are telling the Bush Administration to listen to the will of the people. Why don't they follow their own advice and see that 68% of Americans want to at least give our troops another year because they can see that the surge has worked. Again, the hypocrisy of the Democrats.

Huckabee Still on the Move

Former Arkansas Governor and Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee is still moving on up. He has passed Arizona Senator John McCain and Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney for third place.

According to RamussenReports , the most accurate polling firm in the country, Huckabee holds 3rd place with 14%, trailing Fred Thompson by just 2%; John McCain has 13% and Romney rounds out the top tier with 11%. Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani is still the front runner with 24%.

Mike Huckabee is showing that he is the true conservative of the candidates and people are starting to realize that he has what it takes to win (or at least get a VP spot).

I like Rudy, John, Fred and Mitt, but I believe that Mike Huckabee is the most conservative candidate and the most consistent. His conservative credentials beat all others running for the office of President of the United States. He is pro-life, pro-higher education, supports preventive health care, pro-fair tax, knows that marriage is between one man and one woman, understands that we need to be energy and food independent, supports our troops, knows the dangers of "islamofacism" and is pro-2nd amendment. You can't get much better than that and that is why I will be voting for Mike.

Overwhelming Majority?

I always hear Democrats taking about the overwhelming majority of Americans wanting our troops to leave Iraq immediately. But what I ask is where they get those figures?

RasmussenReports , the most accurate polling firm in the country, has consistently had the percentage of Americans wanting the troops home immediately between 20-30 percent. Not overwhelming at all. They also have the percentage of Americans, that want us out of Iraq within a year at 57 percent. That also is not overwhelming at all. Yet Democrats are the ones saying that the Bush administration is out of touch with reality? But that's not true, it's Democrats that are out of touch with reality and in touch with radicals like the dailykos and code pink.

I think that an overwhelming majority of Americans do want us out of Iraq, after we accomplish our mission there and not prematurely. Leaving too early will give the country of Iraq to Iran (a terrorist country) and endanger America. There is only one type of peace with animals like Ahmadinejad and that is "peace through superior fire power." It is already evident that diplomacy will not work with him (that's what we have been trying), and we cannot afford to let Iran get nuclear weapons or give them a breeding ground to create their terrorists (Iraq).

When the Democratic candidates are asked about Iran they answer with "diplomacy." I guess that they really are idiots because that's exactly what President Bush is using, Iran is just refusing to cooperate.

It's Democrats that are in their own fanasty world and out of touch of the American people. The American people want to be safe from terrorism and Democrats cannot promise that because they are weak people. Thank you for reading and God Bless.
